Ten years ago, claims of “emotionally abusive” coaching were basically unheard of. Today, coaches’ professional and personal reputations are increasingly at risk due to current or former student-athletes accusing their coach of some type of abusive behavior.

We understand that there is nothing unlawful about coaches using accountability, motivation and discipline with student-athletes.
